The theme for the second Annual Universal Design for Learning in Higher Education is +1Transformation by Design.  A plus one change embodies an intentionally designed practice that operationalizes the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) guidelines.  No matter the learners or the learning context, a plus one change is focused on creating learning experiences that are accessible, relevant, rigorous, equitable, and capacity-building.
